The Importance of Sincerity in Magic

Fratortesan: I think that's an excellent question too. When it comes to the practice of magic and especially in evocation when you're conversing with these spiritual beings, there's so much interest and also so much hype within the occult community. It really becomes a barrage of this conscious desire to be able to undertake these and get some sort of sense of power over them. Even admittedly when I first began, I began the same way. But acknowledging the grim more for what it is and starting there and honoring not only making the tools and everything as it's described in the book but also following the invocations are something sacred.
