The Problem of Natural Evil

Todd Graham: What do we mean when we talk about the problem of natural evil? That is such a difficult question, I think, to answer because it's on the one hand, I have creationist friends and colleagues who are kind of uncomfortable with the term natural evil. They don't like the idea that God makes things that are evil because God is not the author of evil. So perhaps we should begin there. ToddGraham: We want to look at objects that display those kinds of traits, those kinds of characteristics from which we can infer design but which appear to be designed to harm or to kill.
