The Difference Between Gram-Positive and Gram-Negative Bacteria
A gram-negative bacteria has a membrane on the furthest outer region. And then if you go slightly inwards, it's got now a cell wall. It's much thinner than a positive, gram-positive bacteria. This is important more clinically, because if you annoy these bacteria, they release lipopolysaccharides that become an endotoxin from within. These toxins can kill us, or kill ourselves. Could be actually a method of... septic shock.
