You Can Heal Your Life - Elizabeth Hay
Elizabeth hay was a pioneer in the field of women's health and wellness. Her work on aids may have been controversial, but she also had a huge following in gay communities. She preached radical self acceptance and self love to men who were abandoned by their families. A double edged sword: Hay believed that part of you is responsible for your own behaviour - even if it doesn't actually cause any illness. But her teachings can be seen as almost poisonous when they don't offer medicine.
