Kelly Link's COVID

I was really struck by her author's note where she says that for the last seven years or so I've been wrestling with an extremely long novel, which is now more or less finished. Now I'm mostly a solitary writer. I'm never around enough people were writing for that to happen. We talk a lot like yeah, we're going to do this that in the third. Is it two in the morning? Is it my daughter's asleep? Okay, I can, I can write now. So I try to snatch a writing whatever I'm able. And you have two small children, right? So, yeah, they've arrived.
