The Importance of Listening to Men
Farrell: 90% of my speaking engagements were coming from, you know, some feminists who referred me. And I got the message that should I decide to be also speaking up for boys and men and the future of the family, that this would not lead to a significant cut off of engagements. Well, that was the beginning of forming some 300 men's groups and some 250 women's groups. Every place I went, I circulated pads. People signed up for men's or women's groups and then I trained them to learn how to run those groups. That certainly has cost me somewhere between 10 and $28 million over the cost of my career based on the best calculations I could do.
