The Future of Smash

Sakurai said he doesn't see a future for Smash without him. I disagree with that last point about it adding more characters, making it inaccessible for the casual party audience. Nintendo wants to keep this as a toy. And when you add so much to it, it becomes inaccessible to people. It's too much for them to keep track of or understand or parse. But fun functionally, this is a Mario Kart. This is a party game. So I think Nintendo should pair it down.
