There is a kind of underlying morality to having an optimism that human civilization will persist for longer than a hundred years like that. Most people don't believe that they can afford to act on such a model basically what happens in the u.s as i think that the health care system is for a lot of people no longer sustainable. The fda is largely not protecting people from malpractice uh of health care providers right okay okay so this is a thing that is has to do with values and this is not because people are malicious on all levels it's because they are not incentivized to act on a greater whole.
