How to Screen for Autism in Toddlers

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that all toddlers be screened universally for autism at their 18 and 24-month visit. But most pediatricians still don't make a referral, according to the Duke study. The researchers are now using computer technology to measure those early behavioral signs.
