In the united states, we again strayed from the straigt narrow with things like the tuskegee experiment as not the only example. So that prompted another a revision and rethinking of all this in the united states called the belmont report. The belmont report was codified in federal law. A, as in laying out the ethics of experimentation and medical research and in general for medical practice. It's fundamental. There there is an awareness and a recognition that some patients like to be told what to do. That's just the truth. Since i do clinical research, i i have to be rigorously trained in this.
