Wei Lu Zhu Ta, a New Style of Chinese Tea Houses

Long mainly sells pot of tea for between 128 and 388 yen, far higher than a typical milk tea or coffee to consumers age 20 to 40. Social media has led the craze with over 100,000 posts about Wei Lu Zhu Ta in December 2022. In short video platform Doin, China's version of TikTok, users viewed videos on the same topic over 3.6 billion times. According to Tich Ha Cha, an online business database, 20,000 tea house related companies were established in first half of 2022.
