Air Supply: The Australian Softrock Duo
Air supply were the schlocky kings of the charts at the turn of the 80s. They racked up seven consecutive top five hits from 1980 to 82. Their mockish 1981 number one smash, The One That You Love was their biggest hit. Even The Nights Are Better came out as a follow-up in 1982. Jim Steinman had been tinkering with this melody for years.
