EQ Energy's 150 Megawatt One Hour Battery Storage Site

EQ Energy is building an eight hour battery at a former coal-fired power station in New South Wales, Australia. It has 150 megawatts of capacity in one hour of storage and the company says it can add another one hour easily. The site was designed to be expandable so that EQ could do this relatively quickly within its permitted footprint on the site.
