Is There a Difference Between Good Looking and Bad Looking?

University of Texas labor economist Daniel Hammemish has studied the economics of beauty for decades. He estimates that a good looking worker will earn an extra $230,000 over the course of a lifetime. People in the bottom six or seven of looks are maybe 10% worse off than the average looker. Men percentage wise do slightly better percentage wise than women who are good looking compared to average and men who are bad looking.
