The latest version of the GNOME operating system will be released in March. It includes a new shortcuts portal and sandboxed apps that can run even when there's no visible window or user interface. Firefox, however, still lags behind Chrome for rendering web pages on Linux by up to 67%. The only space where Firefox is actually better is for WebAssembly technology.
