The SBB Bailout and the Public Justification for Signature Bank's Failure
The bailout of Silicon Valley Bank, which I want to talk about next, got around the loophole they used to offer that bailout. In order to argue for systemic risk, they'd have to be like, well, systemic means other banks are in danger of failing. That could have been sort of the claim that we think signature bank's going to be the next to fail. And this is part of our response tied up with the SBB bailout.
