The Medical Board Is Not a Law Enforcement Body, It's a Regulator Body
It would be more difficult to know what actual practice is like and to identify the systemic problems that the johns hopkins ah study found. And furthermore, it's going to make the medical board's job harder, because they will have people not wanting to speak to them. Now, in tat's case, she was just as candid with the medical board as she was with the police. So there wasn't any gaming of the system on her part. But there does seem to be a bit of a switch, an bait, because the medical board is trying to make sure that they are keeping the profession regulated in a way that keeps out bad actors.
