Nica says philosophy must break from within itself with historicism. He talks aboutt making decisions of thought without turning back towards a presupposed historical meaning that has been set for these decisions. We're evaluating arguments not on their merits exactly, but based on some genealogical method which traces the root of the idea to power relations or social contexts. That's what i see is the historis element here.
