Easter Island Moai

Easter Island is essentially uninhabited now. The Polynesian people who made their way to this island migrated across the vast expanse of the almost empty Pacific Ocean. And they had these massive statues. So because they're all dead, the entire population has been wiped out. It happened at least a couple of centuries ago. Do some of them still survive? Maybe some of them may survive on Chile or something? I'm not sure.
