Being geographically large, to achieve adequate penetration of roundabouts so that they become universally familiar is obviously a vastly more expensive undertaking than it would be in britain or the netherlands. If i were to do a sort of 200 mile journey and i was only staying overnight, i'd almost certainly go by train. I wouldn't drive. There are drives through remote wilderness where if your electrify america charging station is out of action, you're fairly majorly stymede.
