IBC is a general purpose mechanism that can do communication between any kind of like verifiable state machine. It's really the infrastructure of making sure that we're setting up our chain state in a way that other chains, particularly the cosmosis decay chains, can read. IBC as deployed has the best support when you use Ted or N plus Cosmos SDK. The simplest possible thing that you can do with this system is cross-chain transfers.

Henry de Valence, one of the deepest thinkers of privacy and the founder of Penumbra joins the podcast for a comprehensive discussion on privacy. Can Gurel, a research lead at Delphi Digital, joins as a co-host given his recent in-depth Privacy report.
