The Power of Sacraments
The church affirms that for believers, the sacraments of the new covenant are necessary for salvation. If we're not righteous, we're not holy, the sacrament still happens because this is based on the power of God. The fruits of the sacrament also depend on the disposition of the one who receives them. We'll get to what about other people? But first, let's just acknowledge the fact that God has said, unless you're born again of water in the spirit, you shall not enter the kingdom of God.
