At 14, when you went to live with your dad for a year, was that when you first considered becoming a musician as well? Well, that year I was attending friend seminary in Manhattan. And I had a math teacher who was very frustrated with my performance with my homework and my work ethic. She said, what do you want to do all your life? Sing and dance? Of course, the answer was yes.
