In your book, you have a great chapter on self esteem. You sort of talk about the idea and it's kind of rise to fame in like the late 20th century. But then go on to show how most of the empirical basis for self was pretty shaky. It turns out that trying to boost people's self esteem doesn't seem to have all that much impact.
