Is There No Such Thing as Writing?
Jim Boulden: For a young or new ish writer, the writing is like getting it on, it's making a bad horse. You've got to make a bad horse before you can ever hope to make something that looks the real horse. It's kind of like I've talked about in programming. Getting a program that works and does the thing that you want is the first step. And as you gain experience with writing or programming or drawing, the experience program will write the 17th iteration of that program as their first draft because all those other iterations, they don't have to write them anymore.
