"I think it's a kind of bold way to think, if you want to stop racism, stop talking about it," he says. "It shouldn't be more than just a solidarity to call something out as opposed to hijacking Americans on very, what I would call peculiar past." He adds that color cannot define somebody and the person has to also stand up and not play to that narrative.
