The New Covenant and Baptism

Baptism is not simply the continuation of circumcision under the old covenant but that rather baptism is to be defined by the terms of the new covenant itself. The promise that was first given to the woman is fully discovered in Christ. It's revealed in all of its beauty and in all, its fullness because we see in him the final revelation that is given to us from God. All of those things in one way or another are farther steps that move us more close to the coming of Christ.
