The Prisons, the Process of Humanization

The prisoners were taken in their clothes. Some of them were bare chested, so in that case they were given a saro or crama to cover their shoulders and to allow the guards to add a tag with a number. Once the buckshots were taken, then the prisoners were often stripped from all belongings. So men were often not naked, but almost as flaring undershorts. Women were permitted to keep their tube skirts, their saron at least. But clothing was considered almost a privilege, and you had to earn it in some ways to have it. The few survivors who talked about what happened said they were freezing, and theyre really cold because have a lot of clothing
