The West Can't Make Concessions on Ukraine

I think there's nothing wrong with saying look we in the West cannot speak to you for Ukraine you Moscow will have to talk to Ukraine. The idea of actually opening up the possibility that there can be some kind of post-war settlement is absolutely crucial and needs to be hammered home to the Russians every single time there is a conversation. There are people in Russia who still are slightly on the fence they're not quite sure whether they believe Putin but nor are they quite sure if they disbelieve Putin I think this is an opportunity for something that is both potentially forwarding the direct peace agenda but at the same time is actually a piece of political theater intended to undermine Putin's narrative.
