How to Produce Operan Responses for Dogs

i like to start with i making an association for the dog. So i say your name in this really specific tone, and then i produce really good things for dogs very quickly. This starts to produce the behavior of quickly turning towards the person and running towards the person. Once that is pretty consistent, i start to treat it more like an operan behavior so i don't actually reinforce non contingently any more.
