The Importance of Private Funding for Political Campaigns

Private funding for political campaigns is outlawed now. So you cannot privately fund campaigns at all? Is that correct? Yeah. I mean, companies cannot do it. But so people can do it and it helps to be transparent. Up to some limits. Now the important change being that you now get public funding for as soon as you form a political party or only if you receive a certain amount of representation. And yeah, I guess it's not that much of a surprise that as a result, you see a lot more political parties forming - which presumably is at least in part the intention behind this reform.
