Are Bee Keepers Affected by the Aten Hornet Attack?
Asian giant hornets are usually ground nesters, which means their nests are usually underground. So it came as a surprise where karla and her colleagues found this nest in a tree. This one was actually in a tree, vity which theyy have been known to do, but less frequent than in the ground. And i wondered, were any bee keepers affected by the hornet nest? We had a handful of reports from bee keepers about hives being killed off in a fashion consistent with an aten hornet attack.
