I often go back to the question, would I still be doing what I'm doing if I wasn't professionally employed to do it? It's a hard one to answer because there are pragmatic considerations with it. But yes, within the constraints that I would be working within in that point of view,. That's why I take pride in almost having an amateuristic love for what I do - which is why it seeps into all parts of my life. No, it's not something that's ever done. It's always on the cusp of becoming.
