There is an aspect of the supernatural though we have to take into account that say that Jim Jones was a false teacher. The Bible says that he could have used satanic and demonic power to really persuade these people that he was God. I don't know because again I'm I'm a human being with a three pound brain looking at this information that took place 40 years ago before I was born.
