This is the red line, where we talk to three expert witnesses about one big issue shaping the news both here and overseas. In my lifetime, I've seen India go from having a 1% share of the global economy to now having almost 5%. Unlike China, India doesn't have the same centralization of governance. The people speak 22 languages and the laws, rules and taxes differ wildly between states. To get a product from the Taj Mahal in Agra to the port in Kolkata would require a 1200 kilometer journey through four different states.
