How to Meditate in Silence
When I did my PhD in Oxford, 17 years ago, I went to a Vipassana retreat. And ever since that first course, I do two hours of Vipassan meditation every day. Every year like my daily vacation is to go for a long retreat of between 30 and 60 days of just meditation in complete silence. The key is just to observe reality as it is every moment just to stay focused what is really happening right now.
