In this episode, we welcome Benjamin Nolot to the show. He is a French American film producer, director, and writer. He is known for his feature films Nefarious: Merchant of Souls (2011), Liberated: The New Sexual Revolution (2017), and Raised On Porn (2021), and has been nominated for Best Director at multiple film festivals. His films and videos have received more than 40 million views worldwide and have been screened for legislators at the highest levels of government in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. He’s also the director of a new three-part series called Beyond Fantasy which exposes the dark underbelly of the pornography industry. In this interview, we discuss how he got into filmmaking, why he covers such heavy and dark subject matter, why he makes films about the seedy underbelly of the porn industry, how porn leads to sexual violence and pedophilia, how he is able to control his emotions during his interviews, the projects he’s working on now, and much more.
