KYC on an Informational Only Front End, Does That Make Sense?

DeFi protocols are different risks, same regulatory outcome, right? You can't achieve market integrity and financial stability without DeFi. That for me at least looks very reminiscent of the legacy financial system. But like, we can put some consumer protection stuff in place, right? I mean, that just seems reasonable for now.
