VC Funding - Is There a Pre-Existing Profit Motive?

Kevin: I think this is, it's really interesting because here there is not a sufficient profit motive to get these corporations to act in a certain way. And so there is outside intervention by the government to change the incentives, to create a new profit motive where previously there wasn't a pre-existing profit motive around this specific type of impact. So when the ecosystem typically in the form of a token has this value capture umbrella, it's actually able to invest in and incentivize specific types of projects within itself that a typical VC wouldn't be able to do so. That almost has a core larry to or like comparable to things like the nation states, which is setting regulation and program incentiv
