There was a book and I can't remember the name of it off top of my head. But the author of that book, Julia Cameron,. describes writing as "starting and just going" Well, there's something to be said to that. The E.L. Rao is probably best known for ragtime. He says driving, he compares writing to driving at night. You can only see as far as the headlights reveal, but that's long enough. That's far enough to drive, you know, the whole journey.
