Introduction

This is the episode about motivation to play games and motivations to grind in games. The story was told to me by a guy named Christos Reed, who is a writer and occasional game developer. He decided on grinding as the theme for his game even though he didn't necessarily like hate grinding. So how do video games get us to grind and compete?
