What Is Undetectable?
Horror is what is unexplainable. And in its inexplicableness, it shows its innate wrongness. What you can't explain is either something that you will eventually explain, or absolute bolshit that isn't worth talking about. I think it's consistent with the rationalist prejudice, which becomes interchangeable with grown up common sense. It shows a level of intllectual shallowness and ridiculous credulity, childishness. So it's unsurprising that any ghostly manifestation must always be that thing that is to be denied or exercised or driven out f the picture.
