The Call to Work

We have lost the revolutionary biblical vision that God made us in his image to work, and the route to a meaningful life is work. The church has a horrible tendency to think of some professions and callings as more spiritual than others. To be diligent, you have to know your work. You have to do work you want to do and do work that you're good at. We are God's workmanship, so we're put together by God. So preaching on Sunday mornings are changing diapers while advancing the kingdom of God this afternoon.
