The Future of Liquid Body Armor

The future has a very misleading term, which Andrew even points out in our notes here. So there's a couple different types of non-Newtonian fluids that'll be used in these liquid body armors. And the idea is this would allow for fewer layers of Kevlar to be necessary because now you have an additional hardening capacity within it. We said in the beginning, a typical ballistic contact event takes 250 to 50 microseconds. It's possible you actually won't get a fast enough response.
