The Prime Minister's Plan to Bring Net Migration Down to 606,000
Rishi Sunak has got a hangover from Boris Johnson manifesto of bringing in overall numbers down back in 2019. And then we've seen all these more recent broken promises. I think they sort of chose a side on all of this, which is they decided that actually what annoys people more than anything is illegal migration. So they've made a legal migration their big pitch. They think that they are going to be successful in bringing that down because it's something that they feel they're going to have more leverage on.
