It's tempting to kind of draw a parallel between his different genres and his wearing different hats as an artist. I, in my sense, would be, I don't know about you Anthony, that this was not a restlessness that came from him just being unhappy pretty much where I was. You can see that even if you just look at the poems, the long poems, he would write in the 50s,. things like Montage of the Dream deferred and ask him, mama, those look very different from the earlier poems.
