The Need to Shift

Honey bees don't actually have a need to shift. We implemented that because we want to be able to apply these kinds of algthams to real world problems. Right now, there are cameras that are placed in the wilderness to monitor for fires but they're only in certain lo as. They aren't mobile. So you could use this collected to really monitor larger areas. And you could adapt in real time. If you see a fire that's potentially becoming more dangerous, you could adapt the collective to really be monitoring that fire.
