A Serpent Deceives Adam and Eve

A biblical definition for entitlement might sound like trying to take from God what we believe he owes us. Entitled people are aiming at peace, but instead they get restlessness and discontentment. Jesus takes direct aim at the subtle curse of entitlement in Luke 17. We don't recognize Jesus in it, not right off anyway. But if all that we're given by the master is what Jesus describes then we're living by our rights as his creation.
