A lot of parents intervene from a young age, especially in the modern day parent. We're just teaching them to depend on us for feedback, entertainment and stimulation. So one of the things i found really, really helpful was to actually count how many times i'm telling rosie something to do, or giving her praise, or criticising her um. And what i come to realize is, every time i tell Rosie 'you can do it without me', that's like running the risk of getting her upset by saying she isn't doing it right. Thats e mace sense. It doesn't make any sense at all.
