The Importance of Self-Interest in Latin America
I'd tell Latinos uncomfortable with self-interest because they don't trust their own minds. I think many intellectuals, implicitly or explicitly, are play-dinnists. They really view themselves in some way or another as a type of philosopher king. Michael: Peruvian food is amazing, but Mexican food can be amazing if you go to the right place.
